Wilson Ranch Community Park at 2335 Allegheny Drive, Colo. Sp. Co. 80919 In the current location there is limited shade. Please bring what you will need for the sun, like water, hat & chair \*\* Always check on the meetup app or text Scott for possible cancellations due to weather. Both winter and summer have reasons for cancellations. Courts have to be dry and temperatures need to be above 45 degrees in winter. Hike at Palmer Loop/Section 16

(Please note the hikes will be at 9 am until Spring). This is one of the very best close-to-town hikes, some say the best. Views of the city on the first part of the hike, the first mile has significant steepness in it, but then it levels out and slowly descends on a meandering forested trail. In the event of snow, we will cancel. There are porta-potties at the trailhead. Please bring water, a snack, and good footwear. Dogs are ok, though sometimes there are horses on the trail. **Directions:** Take US 24 west to the light at 26th Street, turn left, drive about a mile to the 4-way stop sign. Turn right onto Lower Gold Camp Road, the Trailhead sign will on the right after about a mile, There is a small parking lot at the trailhead, then 3 larger parking areas down the road a bit past the trailhead. Thanksgiving Day Lunch 12:00 pm

12:00 pm is starting time to socialize and get food organized. Dinner will start at 1:00 pm. Thanksgiving Day event is an all day event, we know several of you plan on coming for the dinner and others for the later afternoon events. We are asking this year for a response to figure out how many turkeys we need this year. Past years we generally had turnouts for dinner in the twenty’s, then another dozen and a half showing up later. As the day went on the two large turkeys were not enough. There is no reason to stay home during the holidays, if you don’t have immediate family in town like many of us, come and join us!
