If courts are full we will go to Wilson Ranch Community Park at 2335 Allegheny Drive 80919. There is no shade on the court. Please bring what you will need for the sun. Also, there are **no toilets** at this location, but there is a Safeway or a Walgreens about 1.5 miles away. Safeway, 840 Village Center Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80919 We have decided that the temperature needs to be above 45 degrees to play. Assume game cancelled if not above 45 degrees. Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis. The game is played on a smaller tennis court and has been referred to as "mini-tennis". Two or four players use solid paddles to hit a perforated polymer ball (a little larger than a whiffle ball) over a net. Pickleball games can be played at any and all energy levels (slow and comfortable, mid-energy level and/or fast paced). The popularity of this sport continues to inspire all age groups and it's a great way to get out, exercise, enjoy the fall weather and fellowship! Special Moon Rising Hike at the North Blogett Peak

The parking lot is North Blogett Peak parking lot at 3786 W Woodmen Rd. We will leave at 7:15 to take the "tank road" up about 3/4 of a mile to an overlook. The moon will rise at 7:48. Bring binoculars and flashlights. It's suitable for light hiking shoes. Contact: Sid 719-310-4286

Hike at Sandstone Ranch

This is a sunny, open hike over rolling hills in Douglas County, just a mile short of Perry Park on Hwy 105. We will meet at 9 at the Monument Safeway parking lot, 624 Hwy 105 and carpool from there, Look for my white Jeep Cherokee. Please bring water and good hiking footwear, dogs on-leash are ok (though be aware this trail is very popular for horses). There are porta-potties at the trailhead. Contact: Phil 719-3591603

Memorial Day Picnic

Memorial Day Picnic 11:00 am – Location: Dirty Woman Park 17575 Mitchell Road, Monument 80132 New Direction: Exit on 158 Baptist Rd. Turn left (go over Hwy). Go West or straight through round about. Turn first Right onto Willow Ranch Rd. Go through homes and straight through round about. Name changes to Synthes Rd, go to stop sign and turn right on Mitchell Rd. Head North to park on right. This picnic will be a group of several Christian Singles Groups joining together. Reminder to all, this is a dry event as normal. Thank You! Groups that will be coming are: CSCS2, WHOLE IN HIM, Adult Singles at Rocky Mountain Calvary, SWAT (The Road at Chapel Hills), Vintage Prime at Church For All Nations, and one other group (no formal group name). We can all have a great time. Lemonade and Water provided as well as plates, and plastic ware. We will have the grill going. Please bring your meat item to grill and a dish to share with others. Normal games like Volleyball, horseshoes, and more will be available. Please bring chairs in case we don't get the pavilion. Feel free to bring other outdoor events. Come for a good time! If courts are full we will go to Wilson Ranch Community Park at 2335 Allegheny Drive 80919. There is no shade on the court. Please bring what you will need for the sun. Also, there are **no toilets** at this location, but there is a Safeway or a Walgreens about 1.5 miles away. Safeway, 840 Village Center Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80919 We have decided that the temperature needs to be above 45 degrees to play. Assume game cancelled if not above 45 degrees. Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis. The game is played on a smaller tennis court and has been referred to as "mini-tennis". Two or four players use solid paddles to hit a perforated polymer ball (a little larger than a whiffle ball) over a net. Pickleball games can be played at any and all energy levels (slow and comfortable, mid-energy level and/or fast paced). The popularity of this sport continues to inspire all age groups and it's a great way to get out, exercise, enjoy the fall weather and fellowship! Wear comfortable clothes, tennis shoes and possibly a hat. We'll provide the paddles and balls - you bring your CHAIR, WATER, energy, enthusiasm!!
