New Location: **Foothills Elementary School** **825 Allegheny Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80919** Come join us! Due to the Winter season. please check the comments area for possible cancellations. If courts are full we will go to Wilson Ranch Community Park at 2335 Allegheny Drive 80919. There is no shade on the court. Please bring what you will need for the sun. Also, there are **no toilets** at this location, but there is a Safeway or a Walgreens about 1.5 miles away. Safeway, 840 Village Center Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80919 We have decided that the temperature needs to be above 45 degrees to play. Assume game cancelled if not above 45 degrees. Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis. The game is played on a smaller tennis court and has been referred to as "mini-tennis". Two or four players use solid paddles to hit a perforated polymer ball (a little larger than a whiffle ball) over a net. Pickleball games can be played at any and all energy levels (slow and comfortable, mid-energy level and/or fast paced). The popularity of this sport continues to inspire all age groups and it's a great way to get out, exercise, enjoy the fall weather and fellowship! Wear comfortable clothes, tennis shoes and possibly a hat. We'll provide the paddles and balls - you bring your CHAIR, WATER, energy, enthusiasm!! We have enough paddles for eight people to play at once (which is typically 2 courts). Please RSVP on Meet-Up.
